Baby Bath with Boots

Esther and William love the bath! We bath them every single day and no matter what their mood bath time is always a fun and relaxed time for all. We have to be a little careful about the products we use however as Esther and William both suffer from eczema and sensitive skin.

Boots Baby Sensitive range has been developed by Boots Baby skincare experts in consultation with a leading dermatologist, to produce the mildest and gentlest product for your baby’s skin. There are some great value products in the range that help to prevent irritation before bedtime. Each product will help to leave skin soft and smooth, and is suitable for all sensitive and dry skin conditions. The products are specially formulated to be 100% colour and fragrance-free, hypo-allergenic and dermatologically tested.

Boots Baby Sensitive Moisturising Bath 400ml (£2.05) is a mild baby bath which is dermatologist and paediatrician approved with added moisturisers, to gently cleanse and care. It is unscented so leaves baby clean and soft but just smelling of them. It is really nice to smell that baby smell as we snuggle before bed. We received this product in the middle of July and finished the bottle this week. We have used it at least once every day, on the odd occasion twice. Esther and William can be very messy!! The Boots Baby Sensitive Moisturing Bath is great value for money.

We have also been using Boots Baby Sensitive Conditioning Shampoo 400ml (£2.05). This unscented shampoo gently cleanses and cares for baby’s hair, leaving it looking soft and shiny, whilst the added moisturisers gently condition and protect baby’s delicate scalp. This unique tearless formulation is especially gentle to the eyes. We have enjoyed using this shampoo and still have a third of a bottle left after a month so again it is proving to be great value for money.

We have also tested Boots Baby Sensitive Moisturising Cream and Boots Baby Sensitive Bottom Balm.

The body moisturiser is a thick fragrance free cream that is lovely to apply to babies’ skin. It leaves the skin soft but not gentle. You can understand how it nourishes and protects their delicate skin. It works by replacing moisture lost through the skin. It did seem to help soothe Esther and William’s eczema a little and I also used this moisturising cream on myself as well as the twins and was very pleased with the results. It left my skin feeling smooth and hyrdrated. I think a must for baby toiletries is that they can be useful to other members of the family too and this is certainly true of the Boots Baby Sensitive range.

The bottom balm is also rich and creamy but not at all greasy. It is again fragrance free and hypoallergenic, so perfect for sensitive skin. It leaves Esther and William’s bottoms softer than before we started using it and they were rather lovely and squidgy soft to begin with!

This is an affordable range of bath products for baby and the whole family and they get a big thumbs up from all of us in the Edspire Household. You can buy yours from any Boots store or from Boots.com and if you hurry they have a buy 3 for 2 offer on the entire range!! Making a good value for money product a great one.

Go, go!
