Edspire Festive Forecast: Orchard Toys Review and Giveaway

Today on the Edspire Festive Forecast we have two great products from Orchard Toys, a British brand very popular in primary schools and homes across the UK.

I have used their games in maths lessons with my old year 2 class and always had a positive response from pupils, parents and other staff. I knew that when Esther and William were old enough for puzzles and games Orchard Toys would be the at the top of my list for potential suppliers.

Because of this I was beside myself with excitement when they agreed to be a part of the Edspire Festive Forecast, and so without further ado …

Looking for the perfect Christmas present for your little princess? Then look no further than Orchard Toys where for just £6.50 you can buy a 6 in 1 Fairy Tales Puzzle for the littlest learners in your life.

Suitable from 18 months these durable 2 and 3 piece puzzles introduce your toddler to a fantasy world of princesses and magical creatures. Opening the pretty pink box is like opening the door to a world of wonder where you can introduce them to magical characters and together tell their tales.

Fairy Tales Puzzles are shaped two and three piece puzzles. The stunning picture puzzles can be used to encourage descriptive vocabulary, develop understanding of story and storytelling, practise hand eye coordination and intoroduce problem solving.

These puzzles are great to do together with your little one and really develop their language and thinking skills. What a lovely way to while away a winter’s afternoon!

Perhaps you need a fitting filler for the cheeky monkey in your house? Orchard Toys has just the ticket, a Jungle puzzle box with 6 animals waiting to come alive with their animal sounds. This is a simple puzzle set that can be used to develop hand / eye coordination, problem solving, learn animal names and sounds, and improve descriptive vocabulary. These two piece, shaped puzzles are perfect for little hands. Esther and William loved the animal pictures and hearing Mummy make the noises! Hours of fun for just £6.50

Esther and William are a little young for these puzzles at the moment …

… but come Christmas they will be the perfect age and I cannot wait to use them to make up stories and to introduce the art of puzzling to them. I know that they will love them and be able to use them for years to come. The puzzles are made of tough and recycled cardboard and are strong enough to withstand even the sharpest of teeth!

If you like the Jungle and Fairy Tale puzzles and think that there are little people in your life who might enjoy these this Christmas then we are excited to be able to offer one lucky reader the chance to win both of these puzzles.
