Wow! We have been so lucky to be selected as toyologists for Toys R Us in 2011. It is such a privilege and also a responsibility, reviewing toys and recommending our favourites to the nation. We have had some great toys so far and have some fantastic reviews and guest reviews coming your way.

What is it, Daddy?

We have had some great fun this weekend testing the Playskool Elefun Busy Ball Popper. This very cute plastic elephant squirts balls out of its trunk for babies to catch, chase or find.

Esther and William love this toy and have been playing with it nonstop since we opened it on Friday. Elefun is suitable for babies from 9 months and I would agree with this as Esther and William are 11 months corrected and they knew what to do straight away. Reaching into the elephants belly to find the colourful balls, dropping them into the elephant’s ears and waiting for them to pop back out of the Elefun trunk. Esther also loves the music that this versatile toy plays as you use it and can often be found dancing in her own special style.

As a teacher I am a big fan of differentiation and products that can grow with my children as their size and ability changes. The Elefun Ball Popper is a toy that will grow and change with your child and encourage them to reach their next milestone.

This is a fantastic toy for babies from 9 months. It causes smiles and giggles galore in the Edspire household and I know will be a firm favourite for months to come.
