Bump Watch: Water Baby Review

Today, going by my latest information, I am 14 weeks pregnant.

According to www.babycentre.co.uk my baby is approximately 8cm long from crown to rump and weighs about 40g. She is growing hair and can now grasp, squint, frown, and grimace.

I am beginning to feel more human as I enter the second trimester. I have some energy back and I am feeling less sick.

I have a definite bump now and in the evenings when I am sitting quietly I can feel the tiny pops and flutters that I know are my daughter beginning to move.

One thing that I am finding with this pregnancy is that I never know what I want to eat for lunch or dinner and I am not drinking nearly as much as I should.

One thing that I do drink everyday though is a bottle of WaterBaby. I am out and about with Esther and William everyday and when I pack their things into the change bag in the morning I always pack one thing for me. A bottle of WaterBaby.

WaterBaby is an everyday water drink and a new approach to pregnancy care. WaterBaby is fortified with the recommended daily intake of Folic Acid and a careful blend of supporting vitamins and minerals including Zinc and Calcium designed to provide a refreshing and palatable way to extra hydration and nutritional support during all stages of conception, pregnancy and breast-feeding.

WaterBaby tastes nice with a hint of lemon and lime. It is still water and contains no sweeteners. The taste is not too strong or too sweet, making it ideal for those days of early pregnancy when anything too anything can bring on a wave of nausea. It helps ensure that you take the right vitamins and minerals as well as keeping hydrated. It comes in a simple sealed bottle that is great for Mums on the move, like me!

WaterBaby can be used throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding. I definitely plan to continue drinking a bottle a day to ensure that this little squidger is getting what she needs. I love that the water is fortified with calcium as after breastfeeding twins for 13 months directly before this pregnancy I think that I definitely need to build up my calcium reserves before beginning breastfeeding again.

Knowing that I am going to be drinking this water for possibly the best part of two years I would love to see it more widely available and perhaps in a range of different flavours. I also wonder if the people at WaterBaby might consider making a vitamin drink for toddlers as I am sure it would taste much nicer than their vitamin drops and could be drunk from a beaker rather than given by syringe!

In the meantime though, if you are pregnant, get what you need in a refreshing new way with WaterBaby. Great for Mums on the move!

You can buy a weekly pack of WaterBaby from the website for £7.99 or a monthly for £28.99

I was sent one weekly pack of WaterBaby to try for the purposes of this review.
