Brit Mums Live 2012 Sponsorship Plea

I have been blogging now for a little over a year. In that time this blog has been my sanity, my inspiration, my confidant and my friend. It has provided me with a way of reaching out to others, to make friends, to give and seek advice, to share worries, fears, celebrations and milestones. I have been nominated for a MAD Blog Award and reached the finals as one of the top Baby Blogs of 2011. I was also nominated for a Gurgle Award for Best Blog Photography though I think this was more for cute content than my skills as a photographer!

I have reviewed products and places and been able to recommend innovative new things to family and friends.

I have supported charities that I am passionate about and kept a detailed record of the life of my beautiful twins.

Now I am writing about pregnancy and toddlers and I am keen to learn more about blogging and the community this parenting phenomenon has created.

As part of this personal and blog development I would love to attend the fabulous event that is Brit Mums Live 2012.

The two day event will be held in London on the 22nd and 23rd of June.

Our third child is due on the 5th May 2012 so she really will be a babe in arms. I want to attend the conference and take my baby with me.

I would view this as a great opportunity for the blog and to find out what I can do to make Edspire as better blog than it is today but also as some very special bonding time for my new daughter and me.

Esther and William, our twins, will be almost two years old and will have a lovely couple of days with their Daddy. This will be time for me to really get to know my daughter, Matilda, while meeting friends I have only spoken to through the blogosphere and Twitter.

I am keen to be sponsored by a baby brand so that I can be using their product throughout the double day event. Perhaps a brand of baby wipes, a nappy brand, or baby carrier or changing bag designer?

Perhaps a producer of nursing clothes or breastfeeding accessories?

Or a newborn baby accessory such as a change mat, blanket or play mat that I can take with me and use throughout our stay?

In return for sponsoring me for Brit Mums Live I would love to offer:

A badge / advert on the homepage of my blog for a period of at least 12 months with a direct link to your website.

A post introducing you as my Brit Mums Live Sponsor.

Your brand name mentioned in all my posts, tweets and mentions of Brit Mums Live.

To use your product or wear your item throughout the event.

To review any products or services that you feel would benefit from a blogger review.

To host competitions or giveaways for your brand on this blog.

To write an article or guest post for your blog or website.

I will hand out business cards at Brit Mums Live mentioning you as my sponsor clearly on the cards.

I am happy to discuss any other ideas a company or brand mayhave about ways that we could work together as part of the sponsorship deal and beyond.

And what would I need in return?

Ideally the cost of the conference ticket which currently stands at £49.99 + £2 booking fee (until the 29th February 2012) and one nights hotel accommodation following the first day’s conference (remember this is a two-day event) This should cost no more than £150.00 depending on prices at the time of booking. I would also need to travel from Kent by train which would cost in the region of £50 bringing the sponsorship total to approximately £200.

If you would be interested in sponsoring a pregnancy and baby focused blog for this event, reaching out to over 3000 parent bloggers I would love the chance to talk to you.

You can contact me by email jennie@edspire.co.uk or through Twitter @Edspire.

I do hope to hear from you.

*In this post I have linked to baby brands that I know and love this does not mean that I would not consider working with others. I just like to help the people who I think make our lives as Mummies that little bit easier. Thank you all!
