Earth Friendly Baby A Review

Esther and William both suffer with eczema and dry skin. William in particular struggles through the winter months with chapped cheeks that get so sore and can bleed. I am always on the look out for new products to try with them to protect and sooth their very delicate skin.

When Esther and William have any kind of cold or virus you can tell very quickly by the state of their skin. They often have very dry patches especially on their knees, face and thighs. They get a little rash on their bottom and if they are very ill they often have a rash covering their abdomen.

Because of all this and because as a twin mummy I am aware of the contribution I make to land fill sites I was delighted to be asked to review a range of products from Earth Friendly Baby.

Earth Friendly Baby have produced a wide range of products that are good for baby and for the environment. Their products are kind to mummies and babies skin while also helping to protect the planet. These gentle toiletries and accessories are create using natural plant products and are not tested on animals. You pay a little bit extra for each item but in my opinion the cost is well worth it for peace of mind.

There are so many products from Earth Friendly Baby that I cannot wait to buy and try but here are my thoughts on what we have tested so far.

Earth Friendly Baby Eco Baby Wipes

These thick and soft baby wipes are 100% biodegradable while being kind to your baby’s skin. The material used in the wipes is derived from wood pulp making them also kind to the environment. The liquid solution contains soothing organic chamomile and organic calendula extract, both of which help to keep your baby’s skin fresh, soft and supple.

I have been really impressed with these baby wipes. They are thick, durable and not too wet so they do not leave the skin too damp. Esther and William love using them to wipe their hands and face after a snack. I have even used them to wipe their snotty noses as they are lovely and soft and as I already said not too wet. They are great for nappy changes and have the gentlest hint of scent which I like. A definite possibilty for my hospital bag I think, to use with Matilda May.

Earth Friendly Baby Eco Diaper Nappy Sacks

These 100% degradable nappy sacks are unfragranced and break down to leave no harmful residue. The perforated roll has 50 handy sized bags with tie handles that make them a must-have, practical item.

A changing bag essential that makes me feel I am doing a ittle something for the planet we all live on.

Earth Friendly Baby Organic Calendula Daily Care Cream

This daily care cream with organic calendula extract is specially formulated to soothe sore skin, offering protection against wetness and irritation. Perfect for use between nappy changes as a barrier cream, the ointment also boasts moisturising qualities.

This is a lovely product. A rich cream that is easy to apply. It has really helped to soothe Esther and William’s rough, dry patches and it smells beautiful. You have to get really close to them to breathe in the gentle, natural scent. It is lovely as it does not over power that natural baby smell. Each night after bath we have used this cream all over Esther and William’s body and on their face. They love being smothered in cream and are getting very good at rubbing it in themselves. It is a lovely part of our bedtime routine.

Earth Friendly Baby Organic Red Clover Diaper Care Cream

This formula has been developed to offer quick and effective relief from irritation. The lotion harnesses the natural anti-inflammatory properties of red clover and the healing benefits of mineral zinc oxide.

As I mentioned before when Esther and William are unwell, and sometimes when they are teething, it tends to show with a rash on their bottom. This cream is naturally designed to soothe and calm any rash and relieve any itchiness or irritation. And it seems to work too! I have never really used a nappy cream with Esther and William before and so I am glad that I tried this one as it does seem to make a difference when their little bottoms become inflamed.

We have loved using the different products we were sent from Earth Friendly Baby to review and we would definitely recommend them to our baby and toddler friends. They would make great gifts for new mummies and babies too.

You can buy Earth Friendly Baby products from selected Waitrose, John Lewis, Sainsburys, Boots & leading independent baby stores, health stores and selected pharmacies.

We were sent one roll of nappy bags, one pack of wipes, one nappy cream and one daily care cream to test for the purposes of this review.
