Baby’s First Calendar Review and Giveaway

Baby's First Calendar

One Very Happy Customer!

When Matilda was born the lovely new Daddy, Danny, at Baby’s First Calendar sent me a calendar for Matilda’s nursery to record all of her milestones and firsts.

Sticker Time!

Sticker Time!

I have been given so many baby books for Matilda and the twins but have never used them. They are never to hand when I need them and I end up missing important things. My blog is my online diary for all of my children but it is nice to have something immediately visual too.

I love Baby’s First Calendar as it is so bright and colourful and can be displayed next to Baby’s cot so that when you put her to bed each night you can tell her what she has achieved that day and record it simply with a sticker on her very own calendar. I think it is a wonderful idea.

I liked the idea so much that I bought one of Danny’s calendars back in February 2011 when our niece was born. I think the calendar is a wonderful gift idea for any newborn and for the parents too!

Baby’s First Calendar has a woodland animal theme which complements Matilda’s bunny nursery perfectly.

As well as being a calendar this A1 wall poster also has a built in thermometer to help you ensure that your baby is safe and warm whilst in their cot at nap time and at night.

Safety is important to Danny, the creator of Baby’s First Calendar, and the company are Corporate Sponsors to the leading Cot Death Charity FSID (Foundation for the Study Of Infant Deaths). They donate 10 pence from every sale to FSID to help fund ground breaking research with the hope that one day Cot Death will be a thing of the past. If I did not already love the product this would go a long way to persuading me to buying a calendar for a little one. Such a great cause!

The room thermometer is a useful addition to the calendar and Matilda thought there could be a height or length chart included in the future too?!?

When Will I Be Big?

When Will I Be Big?

So much happens in a Baby’s first year and the highs are often surrounded by lows and you can forget when that precious first smile appeared, when Baby first clapped their hands or took their first steps. These are magical moments to be recorded and cherished for all time. But time is one thing that many mummies do not have so Baby’s First Calendar allows you to quickly and easily make a note of what significant moment happened when.

And what toddler does not love a sticker? Meaning that the Baby’s calendar can be enjoyed by all the family as older siblings can help with the celebrating and recording of each milestone through Baby’s momentous first year. Older children could also be given the responsibility of writing Baby’s name and birth details on to the calendar personalising it for their new brother or sister. They can stick photos on to the calendar too.

Want one for a baby or baby to be that you know?

The very lovely Danny has given me one calendar to giveaway to an Edspire reader. As I mentioned earlier in the post Danny is a new Daddy to baby Ava May, born on the 26th June. To be in with a chance of winning a beautiful Baby’s First Calendar all you need to do is leave a comment below with a wish for Baby Ava – perhaps for health and happiness, for friendship, for laughter etc etc …

What would your one wish be for a Baby born today? What would you hope they achieve? What sticker would you create for their personal milestone calendar?

The competition will close on Esther and William’s birthday, the 24th July, when one winner will be chosen at random. UK Entrants only please.

Good Luck!

  1. When I make a wish for my own son it is always that he will stay safe, healthy and happy, so I will pass the same onto Ava.

  2. I wish baby Ava the strength to find herself. Once she finds herself she need not search anymore as her destiny will bring her the goodwill she deserves.xx
