Matilda Mae Dress from Princess and the Frock

So many people have been so kind since Tilda died 3 months ago.

Losing a baby suddenly turns your world on end.

Nothing makes sense anymore.

Your days can go from humour to horror in the blink of an eye.

Sometimes it is all you can do to get out of bed in the morning and get through the day.

What carries you through?

What carries me through

My amazing husband

My clever, comedy duo

Susanne from GhostWriter Mummy

And people like Claire from Princess and the Frock

Claire contacted me very soon after Tilda’s death to offer condolences and to find a way to help.

She came up with the wonderful idea of designing a dress using Tilda fabric.

She designed and made the dress and today it has been released for sale through her website.

The dress costs £50 and 20% of all profit from the dress is going to be donated to Matilda Mae’s Precious Star Bliss Fund.

This is such a kind and thoughtful thing to do.

A wonderful way to honour and remember my baby girl.

Esther was so lucky to be able to wear the very first ever Matilda Mae dress.

Just look how stunning it is.

It is a beautiful dress that is hand made.

It is a traditional dress for babies and young toddlers.

It is a princess dress.

Esther would not take it off!

The dress is of beautiful quality.

Everyone I have shown it too has commented on the quality of the design and the finish.

I love the attention to detail.

I love the old worldiness of it.

Esther looked and felt like a princess in a frock!

If you are looking to buy a special occasion dress for a little girl

Please buy this one

The Matilda Mae Dress from Princess and the Frock.

And in doing so you may just save the life of a baby

A baby born too sick, too small, too soon.

Thank you Claire.

Thank you with all my heart x

Thank you x

  1. What a wonderful idea and brilliant way to raise money and the dress is absolutely beautiful! I have two daughters and I’m going to buy one each for them xx

  2. A beautiful dress and modelled by an equally beautiful Esther! What a wonderful idea and another lasting memory of Matilda Mae. Might have to save a few pennies/pounds and treat my 2 little grandaughters! x

  3. Very pretty dress indeed on an equally pretty little model. 🙂
It is very heart warming to hear of such support even from companies. Princess and the frock that’s a lovely gesture!
