Today I begin a journey

A journey I have travelled before

Different station

Different train

But a familiar journey all the same

I am on my way to London

To the ARGC

A place full of hope and anxiety

A building full of possibility

A doctor to discuss my fertility

This is a journey I have travelled before

Last time the journey was long

There were many obstacles along the way

But we got there

We made it

We reached our destination

And just look at our beautiful souvenirs!

This time the journey is different

And I travel with a heavy, sad heart

Perhaps because it is a voyage

I thought we may never need start

And when we took these solemn steps

I had hoped that they may be

To discuss the possibility

Of babies five and six

Never did I think it would be

Because we had lost our precious baby three

So I am on my way to London

I am making this journey alone

To see if we can take our embryos

And try and bring our babies home

A frozen embryo transfer

We are on this rocky road again

Trying to make dreams a reality

To become new parents again
