Growing A Rainbow: Weleda Wishlist

For the last few months I have been using some wonderful Weleda shampoo and conditioner

I love Weleda products

They have a special place in my heart

Because I used them with Tilda

Because Weleda sent beautiful gifts

After Tilda died

Because the products smell so good

So distinctive

I have memories

Such good and special memories

Attached to those smells

Now that we have been blessed with a rainbow pregnancy

And I hope in time a rainbow baby

I am making my Weleda wishlist

For baby and for me

growing rainbow

Weleda Stretch Mark Massage Oil
This wonderful oil made of almond oil and wheat germ oil sounds like just what I need right now as my pregnant belly stretches and swells. I also have a horrible scar on my tummy from when I was operated on while pregnant with Esther and William. I think that massaging this rich oil in would help soothe and ease this too.

Nursing Oil with free Calendual Massage Oil
I hope that this rainbow baby will feed as well as Esther, William and Tilda have done. I love the idea of preparing for birth and preparing for feeding. Weleda Nursing Oil is designed to help you do just that.

The Calendula Oil has the scent. That Tilda scent. I used Calendula lotion on her all the time. The scent takes me back, Takes me to Tilda.

After Tilda died Weleda sent me a selection of beautiful rose products. I used them every day for a good while and they really made a difference to my skin and to how I felt about myself. I lost the routine and stopped using them and now I just feel horrible again and so these beautiful products are high up on my wish list. I would like the Rose Collection which includes a cleanser, toner, day cream and night cream. The wild rose products are designed to help gently combat fine lines using natural products. I would also like to get the wild rose smoothing face masque and make myself take some time out once a week to relax and bond with rainbow baby and dream of Matilda Mae. There are some step by step instructions on the Weleda website for giving yourself a DIY facial. I am going to follow those!

There is also Wild Rose body wash and body lotion so I am adding those to my wishlist too.

Weleda also sell a Wild Rose deodorant that I think would be perfect for my hospital bag, a natural way to freshen up. I do worry about using aerosols with chemicals when pregnant so love the idea of this natural spray that neutralises bacteria and prevents unpleasant smells.

As well as looking after mummy and baby’s skin Weleda also produce wonderful health care products.

On my wishlist are …

Chamomilla Granules for baby if they suffer with teething or colic.

Baby Tummy Oil for tummy massage to help if baby suffers with wind. Tilda used to suffer from terrible trapped wind and she loved having her tummy rubbed. I wish I had this oil for her.

I am also going to buy the full Calendula bath range for rainbow baby. Weleda sell a wonderful starter kit to get you through the earliest weeks and to keep in your hospital and then changing bag.

Those precious early days and weeks. I do hope we get that far.

And what of the shampoo and conditioner that I have been testing? Will I be adding those to my Weleda wishlist?

Yes I will.

The Oat Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner are both lovely products.

The shampoo smells wonderful and leaves a gentle scent in my hair and makes my bathroom smell like a spa. I have coloured hair and the shampoo and conditioner keep my hair in beautiful shiny condition. You only need to use the smallest amount of each for the best results. I have had them for about three months now and I am still using them both. Loving them both!

I am a huge fan of Weleda products, they are bursting with natural goodness that is gentle on you and the planet.

What is not to love about the wonder of Weleda?

Oh and (David!!) they have lovely gift sets for Mothers Day!!

I was sent one bottle of shampoo and conditioner for the purpose of this review
