Ever since we reviewed Seedling craft kits for Asobi Toys

Esther and William have loved working with glitter glue

They love the pens that they can squeeze

They enjoy making lines and spots and blobs

They like making patterns and shapes

They also love to get messy

And to feel the sparkly glue between their fingers

Controlling glitter glue pens is a great pre writing activity

It is good for developing fine motor skills

Using the muscles needed to hold a pencil correctly

And write or draw proficiently

I decided to use their enthusiasm

For a very simple Easter activity

I printed off some Easter egg templates

On to different coloured cards

I then gave Esther and William

And Ami from Beebies Baby Store

The glitter glue pens

And we were off

Creating colourful

Sticky and sparkly

Eggs for Easter

We are going to use some of our eggs as Easter cards

And some are going to be hidden round the garden

As part of our Easter egg hunt

We let Ami take hers home!

I made an egg for Tilda

I am going to laminate it and put it in her garden

Hoping she might see it, filled with kisses
