Easter Hunt 2014

Today has been the loveliest day

My dear friend and her beautiful children came for lunch and an Easter Hunt

She gave me the most beautiful outfit for Rainbow Baby

The first gift we have had for baby

The first outfit we have ready

rainbow

I have not dared to start shopping myself yet

I cried happy tears for Rainbow Baby

And sad tears for Baby Tilda in the sky

It is just so wrong that she is not here

And looking forward to being a big sister

It is just not right

But today was a lovely gentle start to Easter

The children were happy playing in the garden

Meaning the mummies had a little time to have a chat

We then did the Easter Hunt

I wanted something different from eggs

As both families will have an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday

So I gathered together some alternative Easter bits

Each child had to find

Two plastic carrots that I filled with mini eggs

carrots

A pot of bubbles

A chick bouncy ball

And a Spring rubber duck

treasure and baskets

We started the eggsploring in Baby Tilda’s garden

Where everyone found their duck

The perfect present for an Easter Eve bath

discovering ducks

We then headed for the daffodils in the back garden

To find the first of the eggcellent carrots!

daffodils

All the children loved the chick bouncy balls

And were eggcited to find them nestled in the garden

After running round and roaming the garden

The bubbles were found between two large logs

And finally the last of the carrots ended the eggsploration

What fun!

A lovely way to enjoy the garden

And the season

I could just imagine little Matilda Mae chasing after everyone

Poor poor Baby Tilda

So much life missed

I miss you Baby Tilda

So so much x

  1. First, the outfit is really nice and lovely. And you got some nice friends there. Since I do not have kids, I like to celebrate Easter with my friends’ families. Happy Easter
