Dressing A Boy: Daisy Chain Baby

In today’s Dressing A Boy feature I am very honoured to talk to you about one of my favourite places to shop for boys and for girls, Daisy Chain Baby.

This is the online shop that first introduced me to Tights for Boys and the ever so awesome Slugs and Snails.

We now own every design of Slugs and Snails and they are worn by Esther and by William.

Daisy Chain Baby holds a special place in my heart because of Slugs but also because from there I bought some of Baby Tilda’s funkier clothes, including this combination that I loved.

When you browse the website you can see the potential fun to be had in these clothes bounce from the screen. There are bright colours, fun designs, striking patterns and bold graphics.

The clothes selected and sold by Daisy Chain Baby are made for play. They are made for rough and tumble, made for cute pictures in long meadow grass. These are clothing brands with the true essence of childhood at their heart.

And that is why customers like me return to Daisy Chain Baby, time and time again.

One of my favourite brands available at Daisy Chain Baby is Helen Gordon. Esther and William both adore their fairy tale pyjamas. They both have The Three Little Pigs and Esther also has Hansel and Gretel. Helen’s nostalgia inspired night wear is beautifully made, washes well and is so comfortable for little ones to sleep in, play in and travel in.

One of the things I love about Daisy Chain Baby’s brands including Green Cotton is that the play clothes are so gentle and so soft that they can also be used as sleep clothes. Esther, William and Tilda have all had Green Cotton playsets that they have also used as pyjamas.

My favourite brand stocked by Daisy Chain Baby is Piccalilly. Beautiful clothes for girls and for boys made from softest organic cotton.

William has a tshirt that we call his Star Bear tshirt and he loves it. It is made of thick, soft organic cotton. It is predominantly blue and white stripes adorned with red patches and white stars.

The tshirt has been worn every week, at least once, for nearly a year. It washes brilliantly, keeping it’s size, colour and shape.

The stars and stripes top looks great with jeans, joggers and of course, Slugs and Snails tights.

I love the fun designs of Picalilly clothes. I love that I can dress all my children in complementary but not identical clothes. I love the use of stars and the little details in the design of the clothes. I love that they look great but are definitely designed to be used over and over again. Fabulous, fun clothes!

The thing that makes Daisy Chain Baby so special apart from her wonderful taste in clothes for small children is the customer service. Active on social media, prompt to answer questions and generous with charity events and donations.

This is a company that has families at it’s heart.

And a company that knows how to dress a small boy!
