Still bumpy still waiting x some pain very low down but more a constant cramping than contractions. Feel like I permanently need a wee! A slow slow day! No midwife contact since 6 this morning. Even waking up and down stairs and round the hospital grounds before being strapped to monitors. Going to be monitored for 30 mins soon to check baby before next stage of induction. Back on monitor, propess taken out, new midwife says she thinks I have to have a 24 hour rest before anything else happens! Latest update! Propess was removed and I was monitored for an hour. CTG showed happy baby and regular contractions for me 5 mins apart. Midwife came to examine me to insert prostin gel. Found me to be 3cm dilated with Bishop Score of 8. Decided not to give gel and instead we are back to waiting for a bed on delivery suite to have waters broken! Has been a day of frustrating contradictions and what seems like a lot of wasted time. My contractions now seem to have stopped completely and so am worried that at next exam they will change their mind again. Everyone has different opinions and every exam gave a different result. It is frustrating and exhausting. Such a different experience from being induced with Bea. #induction #inductionoflabour #day2 #birthstory #sprinkleofstardust #babynumber5
