I have been dithering with the writing of this post as I do not want to beg and I am aware that Edspire sits among many other magnificent pregnancy blogs.
Edspire started as a journal of my time in NICU with Esther and William. Last year I was lucky enough to be a finalist in the MAD Awards Best Baby Blog category. This was a great honour and gave me the confidence and enthusiasm to continue blogging. I had expected to continue the story of life with our twins but I had a very unexpected change of focus when in August I found out I was pregnant with Baby Number Three!
While I still love to write about Esther and William the focus of Edspire for the last seven months has definitely been pregnancy and the story that is unfolding post by post on my Bump Watch page.
I have tried to write truthfully about pregnancy symptoms. I have tried to be open and honest about any pain, any worries and fears. I have updated my Bump Watch weekly with my story as well as product recommendations and reviews.
I have loved documenting my pregnancy and know that I will enjoy looking back on it in years to come. I also hope that the things I have shared will help other women as they prepare to give birth to their children in times to come.
The MAD Blog Awards are a chance to show people who write blogs that they have an appreciative audience that they are writing for. It is wonderful to know that people are reading what you write, perhaps enjoying it and even finding it useful.
I have made my nominations for the awards and you can make yours here. Please do nominate, you do not have to nominate in every category so even if there is only one blog that you love please do nominate them and show them that you have thought of them.
There are some wonderful blogs online at the moment, written by truly talented, funny, inspirational and crafty mummies. And Daddies too!
The MAD Blog Awards is our chance to celebrate them and show that we care.
Every blogger would love a nomination for their blog to know that they are doing something right and worthwhile and helpful for others.
I would love to be nominated in this year’s MAD Blog Awards in the category for Pregnancy Blogs.
If you enjoy Edspire or have found it in anyway helpful then please do nominate me.
Thank you.
