Teething Bling Pendant Review

Esther and William have been teething from around four months of age. They finally cut their first two teeth in the last month. They both have their centre bottom two teeth. Very cute!

Now they are beginning to cut their central top teeth and they are both really struggling. Poor little things!

They are constantly looking for something to put in their tiny little mouths and chew.

Esther and William were born at 27 weeks and so they are much smaller than your average 11 month old baby. Their mouths though perfectly formed are tiny. We have struggled to find a conventional teething toy that works for them.

I was therefore very excited when I was asked to review a pendant from Teething Bling and hopeful that a solution for my teething twins may have been found.

Not only that but there was also the possibility that I might be able to wear a necklace for the first time in over a year! I am not a big jewellery wearer it has to be said but I do like to add a bit of colour to an outfit and to combine that with a handy, portable teething toy for the twins seemed too good an opportunity to be true.

First impressions were very good when the pendant arrived. On opening the padded envelope I found an organza draw string bag with the necklace inside along with information about the bling and a very useful pen. Pens are always welcome in this house!

The necklace is a rope necklace with a silicone disc on the end.

Silicone is the material many teething toys are made from and it is safe for little babies to handle and chew.

My disc is turquoise, a very striking colour that works with lots of outfits. I tend to wear lots of blues!

It was also bright enough to be spotted straight away by eagle eyed Esther who quickly claimed the jewel as her own.

Esther and William both enjoy having a chomp on the pendant and it accompanied us everywhere on our recent holiday. When not around my neck it fitted neatly in my purse and could be brought out at opportune moments such as when baby was getting grumbly on a boat to The Farne Islands, in a cafe, in the car, during a nappy change …

This is a true travel, teething companion for mummy and baby.

Because it was used so much by both Esther and William (they do love to share their germs) I did put the pendant through the dishwasher every couple of days and the disc is definitely dishwasher friendly, thus making it super practical, pretty, safe and hygienic!

You can get your hands (and your little one’s teeth) on a pendant (£12.95) of your own from Smart Mum UK where you will also find bangles (£8.95), gift sets and gift cards.

You can follow Teething Bling on Facebook to keep up to date with all competitions and offers.

I was sent one Teething Bling Pendant for the purposes of this review. All opinions are honest and my own.

ps – As I write this our friend has just given birth to a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations Dan and Steph! Perhaps I will buy some Teething Bling for you x
