A Moment in Time

When thinking about magical moments in my life

My thoughts immediately turn to my children

There is nothing more magical in my world than them

I adore them all in equal measure

But when it comes to magic moments

Esther and William have so many

Twice as many

As anyone without a twin

Watching my beautiful twosome grow together

So in love with one another

Is an honour

A privilege

And it fills my broken heart

With hope, pride and joy

I try to capture their relationship

On my blog

On canvases

In frames

In photo books from Photobox

I try to capture a moment in time

Magical moments that show

Their friendship

Their love for one another

I try to store memories for them

That otherwise they might forget

The smiles they share

The fun and laughter

magic moments

The tenderness

The understanding

The respect

birthday smiles

I love the way they hold hands as they walk along

How they hold one another when they are worried or scared

Their togetherness is inspiring

The beauty of their bond so clear to see

moment

They are amazing miracles

They will soon be five

And are growing into wonderful little people

Following in Daddy's footsteps together

Following in Daddy’s footsteps together

In spite of their premature birth

The medical miracle of their survival

The death of their baby sister

In spite of it all

togetheri

They are happy, kind, generous loving children

They are clever, confident and funny

They are curious explorers and adventurers

And they are mine!

Mine!

mine!

How incredibly lucky am I?
