10 Songs I Remember From My Childhood

Ours is a house often filled with song

Singing makes us happy

Singing keeps us calm

Singing keeps us sane

My repertoire of songs

Ranges from nursery rhymes to rock ballads

From Stock Aitken and Waterman

To 90s Brit Pop

Songs from the musicals

Songs from the school hall

We are our very own variety show!

Some of my favourite songs

Are those from my own childhood

Songs I remember singing with my parents

Often at bath time

Or in the car

Here are 10 Songs I Remember From My Childhood

Que Sera Sera

Gilly Gilly Ossenfeffer Katzenellen Bogen By The Sea

A Windmill in Old Amsterdam

The Runaway Train

Mud Mud Glorious Mud

Nellie the Elephant

There’s No One Quite Like Grandma

The Teddy Bears’ Picnic

How Much is that Doggie in the Window

There are so many more I could mention

Do you have a favourite childhood song that you still sing today?

  1. These were the songs from my childhood too…I had a record with lots of these on. I had forgotten about a few of them. The Runaway train and The Hippopotamus Song were my favourites x
