Reasons to be Cheerful at Mummy with a Heart

Walking in the Weather
What a glorious week of sunshine! It is hard not to be cheered by the weather alone. I have been out in it every day, walking with our giant double buggy. The babies get two walks a day. An early morning hike with their Daddy whilst I sleep and shower, and a more relaxed stroll with me in the afternoon. The fresh spring air in my lungs and the warm sun on my skin makes my heart soar. Come on summer, I am waiting for you!! Imagine how happy we will all feel then?!?

Friends and Family
This week Esther and William have enjoyed spending time with Nanny and Granddad Nairn, Granddad Henley, Great Uncle Steven and Great Aunty Carolyn, their Godmother Michele and my oldest friend Petra and her daughter, my Goddaughter, Maia. We are making the most of the new season and seeing how well Esther and William respond to family and friends fills me with cheer. The positive comments we have had about them, their nature and their behaviour fills me with pride too. Esther and William have been hidden away for too long. it is good that they are finally able to meet and charm their friends and family. We have lots more visits and visitors planned!

Chocolate (oops, sorry diet!)
Just sometimes a little bit of what you fancy does you good. After a tough day with the wee ones it was joyous to sit down on Thursday with a bag of chocolate raisins and watch Silk. Whilst blogging of course!! And tonight I did it again, Revels this time. A little bit of me time, I fancied it and it did me good!!

To see what makes other people feel good hop on over to Mummy from the Heart and maybe share your reasons for cheer too.

  1. Those are some great reasons to be grateful. I bet your twin babies love all the fresh air and sunshine too. And as for chocolate… no diet is complete without some! Thanks for linking to Maxabella loves’s linky x
