Toyologist’s Thinking

Since applying to become a Toys R Us Toyologist for 2011 I have been thinking about how to make the most of the experience for myself and Esther and William, our friends, family and local community. I am waiting to find out more about what Toys R Us want us to achieve through the campaign but on a personal level these are some of the things that I would like to do over the coming months.

Review toys with friends and family
Ask family and friends to write guest reviews
Hold a Toyologist Tea Party for Esther and William’s first birthday
Hold a Toyologist Toy Auction for a children’s charity
Donate toys to our local Baby and Toddler Group
Donate toys to the children’s ward at our local hospital
Hold a Twin Toyologist event for our twin friends
Have a Toyologist Tent at our wedding in September
Run giveaways and competitions through this blog
Start a local Baby Book and Toy Group
Donate to Christmas appeals

These are just a few of the ideas that are racing through my mind at the moment. I really cannot wait to get started.

Thank you Toys R Us for choosing us. We will not let you down x

ps – Does anyone remember the Friends episode where Rachel exclaims “I’m an assistant buyer!” That is how I feel about being a Toyologist. Top of the world!!!
