WPD12: Hello Baby Gift Box Review and Giveaway

A winner!!

Congratulations Heather!

November now feels long gone but I am still working my way through my prematurity related posts, reviews and giveaways.

Life has a funny way of getting in the way of my blogging.

Esther and William are throwing off their prematurity and striding over confidently into their terrible twos!!

Some days I find it very hard to comprehend that this …

… has become this!!!

One thing that Esther and William have loved from the first is their bath. Bath time is treasured time with Daddy. In the bath they have learned to count, blow bubbles under water, recognise letters, shapes and colours. They have always had quite hot baths and with plenty of bubbles.

When we first brought Esther and William home from hospital we used to give them a complete body wash before putting them into the bath. It seems crazy now and we do nothing of the sort with Matilda Mae but it seemed the right thing to do with our teeny tiny twins.

In the bath now there is much splashing and sploshing, especially when all three of them are in the bath together.

Bath time is an established part of our bedtime routine.

Every night they have a bath, wash their hair and clean their teeth before their bedtime story and a little something on TV.

We use a whole range of products in the bath but I do always try to find ones that are gentle and organic.

A range we particularly like is Organic Babies by Green People. We reviewed their Mum and Baby Rescue Balm a while ago and have been hooked on their products ever since.

Because of this, and their commitment to supporting the premature baby charity Bliss, I was thrilled to be offered one of Green People’s new Hello Baby Gift Boxes to review. I also have one to giveaway!!

This is a very simple gift set for newborns.

Green People have carefully selected three of their best baby products and presented them in a sturdy cardboard box. The box is plain and can be wrapped with a cover, pink, blue or a multi colour unisex pattern.

Inside the box you will find

100ml Lavender Baby Wash & Shampoo, 30ml Dry Skin Baby Lotion, 30ml Lavender Baby Salve. All three products are made with gentle organic ingredients making them perfect for precious young things.

The lavender wash and shampoo is very gently scented and is perfect for our bath before bed. It is relaxing for everyone and sets the tone of peace and relaxation needed for bedtime after a busy day.

The dry skin lotion has been great for us in this cold weather as all three of my babies have developed very dry skin on their faces. This unscented cream can be easily applied and does not aggravate their broken skin.

The lavender baby salve I save for the nappy area and like the Mum and Baby Balm before it, the salve has become known as mummy’s magic cream for fractious nappy times.

Hello Baby is made without SLS, SLES, parabens, alcohol (ethyl alcohol/ethanol) artificial fragrances, petrochemicals, lanolin, harsh foaming agents and artificial colourants to offer you the purest gift for new mums that nature can offer.

I have used all three products just as much with my toddlers as I have with my baby and because of that I think this could be a perfect Christmas box as well as a gift for a newborn baby.

I am keen to promote the products of Green People because I admire their company ethos and the fact that they support premature babies through Bliss.

Who are Bliss?
Green People is proud to be working with Bliss, a UK charity that works to provide the best possible care and support for all premature and sick babies and their families.

Green People are delighted to be donating more than 20,000 samples of its Organic Babies Scent Free Baby Wash to Bliss, who will be including these in the free ‘support packs’which they distribute on the wards to new parents of premature and sick babies.

The Baby wash contains only safe, non-irritating ingredients and is free from parabens, phthalates, SLS/SLES, lanolin, synthetic fragrances, PEGs, petrochemicals, propylene glycol and colourants . So mild and gentle this wash is suitable for babies with sensitive skin and those who may be prone to skin conditions such as eczema.
Green People are proud to partner with Bliss.

A staggering 1 in every 9 babies in the UK is born premature or sick say Bliss, Emily Sheldrake-Taylor, brand manager of the Organic Babies range, says “We are so happy to be able to support Bliss in the form of these 20,000 samples, we hope that the washes we have provided help parents and babies to enjoy a soothing, gentle bath time experience.”
