Justin’s World is Something Special

Today we did something special

We met someone special

We sang hello

We sang goodbye

And in between we sang and signed and danced.

Today we met Mr Tumble.

That funny man from GiggleBiz.

Today we met the awesome man that is Justin Fletcher.

We have been huge fans of this very talented man for a long long time.

You can read about our adoration here

He is the reason Esther and William signed so well from a very early age

And from their early signing came lots and lots of early talking.

Today we were invited to travel to Merry Hill Shopping Centre near Birmingham

To meet the magic man himself

And watch a live show to kick off the launch of his new Apps Justin’s World.

We left our house at 6am to travel to the midlands.

We had time to stop for breakfast on the way

But Esther and William were keen to get on and get to Justin.

We were listening to his CD in the car

And Esther kept saying, Justin is singing this, Justin is saying that …

She was more excited than William I think

But perhaps not as excited as me!

I was excited but also apprehensive

I was worried that we might be disappointed

By the day, the event, by the great man himself.

But nothing was a disappointment

Nothing at all

In fact the whole experience

Was really rather wonderful

Some kind of magical

One for the memory box

For all three of our children!

We were to meet Justin at Pizza Express

When we arrived at Merry Hill he was doing a sound check on stage

Which we were able to watch!

It was a glorious sunny morning

And after a long drive Esther and William wanted to stretch their legs

So we let them play with their engines

Using raised beds as track

Which of course they loved

They did not mind one bit having to wait for Justin

And to be honest we did not have to wait very long

And the whole time we were waiting a lovely lady kept coming to check on us

To make sure we were okay

When we were invited in to Pizza Express we were shown to a table

Where we were to sit and have a drink and a cookie

And spend some time with Justin Fletcher

When it was our turn

Esther and William obviously refused to say anything at all

And so I did the talking!

I told him about Baby Tilda

I showed him the journal I am writing about her memory garden

And I asked him to sign it

Which he did

Justin Fletcher signed Matilda Mae’s Memory Garden Journal

From himself and his alter ego, Mr Tumble!

We told him how much we love Mr Tumble

And how we call GiggleBiz Catch The Bear

And then he blew some bubbles with us

Bubbles for Baby Tilda

Up in the sky

I was so impressed and overwhelmed that he did this for us

For Matilda Mae

As she did really like watching him too

Today Justin Fletcher touched all of our hearts

As he blew bubble kisses to our baby in the sky.

It was really lovely to meet him

He seemed quiet and humble and a genuinely lovely man

It was an absolute pleasure to meet him today.

After posing for an official family photo

We went outside to queue for the show

We had VIP tickets and so were able to sit in a special area

With specially laid turf

Right up close to the stage!

It was wonderful and we could not wait for the show to begin.

Esther and William were given flags

Which they waved wildly whenever they were asked

As we waited for Justin to take to the stage

The sun was shining so brightly

I am certain Tilda was with us today.

Esther and William loved the show

They knew all the songs and thought Justin was funny and very loud!

David thought the show was much better than he thought it might be

David is very hard to please!

I had a wonderful time.

Half an hour of singing along

And holding my hands up high!

Justin was great

He has a lovely voice

Is a great character actor

Connects with the audience well

Especially the young children clambering to be near him right at the front

He knows what preschoolers want and need

He is not afraid to have fun

He knows how to communicate with all people

These are some of the many things that make him

As magical as he is

Today’s show was excellent

The atmosphere was amazing

As Justin Fletcher entertained almost 1000 fans

Completely for free!

The shows at Merry Hill today were to celebrate the launch of Justin’s World Apps for preschoolers. You can read more about them here.

Today was a fabulous day.

A great way to spend a Saturday, the day of the week I always dread.

Today it had a magic sparkle.

Thank you Justin x

We were invited to meet Justin today and watch the show as VIP guests. We were also given Ā£50 of Merry Hill vouchers to help us enjoy the day. All views in this post are my own and from my heart.

  1. What a magical day! We saw Justin/Mr Tumble at a festival a few years ago – on stage then we queued for a photo/autograph and he was, as you say, really humble and lovely. So thoughtful of him to blow the bubbles.xx

How sweet of him to sign as Justin & mr tumble, and blowing bubbles for baby tilda

  5. We are huge Justin fans here too. Alistair adores Mr Tumble and has been a prolific signer since he was about 6 months old. I saw Justin being interviewed recently on TV and he seemed to very humble but also so passionate about what he does. A true hero of children’s TV. I would have loved to see him live, though I’m not sure how Alistair would have reacted!! Glad you had such a special day x

  6. Wonderful! Jake & Ellie grew up watching Justin’s shows, & they still love Justin’s House. He’s an amazingly talented man & it’s good to see that he seems to be as kind in real life as he appears to be on TV. That looks like a great treat for you all x
