Give A Book This Christmas with Lost My Name

There is one type of gift that I enjoy buying more than any other and it is books.

I love to buy books for family and friends, trying to match stories to the people I know and love.

A few months ago I came across Lost My Name and was blown away.

Three Dads and one uncle work together to create stunning personalised books for children.

Each book is as unique as the name it represents

Every A4 page is a piece of artwork with a modern rhyming text.

The book is a combination of classical creatures, magical figures and children’s imagination.

The story is a journey, a quest, a mission to find your name!

Each page sees another adventure in a new location with characters that are leaping from the page.

And the main character?

Your little one, or whoever’s name you choose.

We have three of these books

One for William, one for Esther and one for Matilda Mae.

Each their very own story about the day they lost their name.

We love to read them together.

Esther and William adore reading theirs over and over.

They love the troll and the giant squid, the mardy mermaid and the enormous elephant.

These are books that are great to read aloud.

This is why I love the fact that we have one for Tilda

So that whenever we want to we can read her story and say her name

Shout her name out loud in celebration

In celebration of finding her name!

These beautifully illustrated books are very special indeed

The print quality is wonderful

The pages are stiff and sturdy

Safe in toddler hands

These Lost My Name books make great presents for babies

Perhaps christening, first Christmas or first birthday

These books are great for toddlers

Who love the sound of their own name

These books are great for preschoolers

Who are learning to recognise letters and sounds

These books are great for young school children

Who are starting their own reading adventure

Lost My Name Books make the perfect present

For names that must never be forgotten

Just like Matilda Mae

I think these books would be a lovely gift for a family who have lost much more than a name

They could be a magical way of remembering

And saying a special name over and over again

What a quite amazingly brave and courageous little girl –
called…
Matilda Mae

Lost My Name books are a perfect gift for so many occasions and for people of all ages.

I know that we will treasure ours for always.

Esther, William and Matilda Mae.

  1. How beautiful, the books look stunning, and what a particularly gorgeous way to celebrate MM’s name – love the idea that you can read the book whenever you want and shout out her name through the story. Simply stunning. Am off to order two for my girls right now for Christmas, thanks for this lovely review xx
