In the run up to World Book Day we have been reading and reading and reading all over the house.
We have books everywhere, in every room.

If I won I’d give this to my niece and nephew. Their house was struck by lightening in the night last July resulting in a huge house fire which thankfully they escaped from where they lost all of their belongings. They’ve just moved back in after months of work on the house rebuilding so this would be a lovely addition to their home to welcome them back. I would chooseThe Story of the Little Mole Who Knew It Was None of His Business (a children’s book by German children’s authors Werner Holzwarth and Wolf Erlbruch) as the first book in the book box as it is a truly brilliant and hilarious who done it!

We also have hundreds of books in our house. We need more storage space for them so this would be great to win!! The first book displayed would have to be ‘Guess How Much I Love You’.
It would have to be treasure hunt for boys. It’s a firm favourite in our house and is certainly well loved.

Well where do I start!
We would have I keep zog, what the ladybird heard and a snappy enormous crocodile toy and book for starters. These are all the current favourites!
I think the Singing Mermaid would have to be the first book displayed – so it can be ready for action at any time.

The first book we’d display would have to be “Mog & Bunny, and other stories” by Judith Kerr – Mog is one of my little girl, Olivia’s, favourite characters and we have all the individual books, and she can practically read Mog and Me to me each night now. But she loves going through the Mog compendium because there are so many pictures to talk about in it.
