Giving a Giggle Away with Cosatto

One of the things I miss most about Matilda Mae

Is her giggle

giggle

It is the most wonderful sound

Hearing your children squeal with delight

It is the most wonderful sound

Now I am looking forward to a new giggle

A new delighted squealer

I am growing a rainbow

growing rainbow

And growing a baby has to be one of the best feelings in the world

Those first flutters

Perfect pops

Undoubtable thuds

Beautiful baby kicks

As parents we look forward to our new addition

Seeing our family grow

We want to cherish them, treasure them

Spoil them

We want the best of everything

We worry that we will not love them

Have forgotten how to care for them

Worry about how they will fit in with our children already here

Our children in the sky

we three

Pregnancy is a time of love

A time of excitement

A time of anxiety

Worry

Fear

It is a time for reflection of what has passed

Who has passed

It is a time for looking forward

A time for hope

I am growing a rainbow

I am so in love with this baby already

I am so excited to meet her

I am so anxious of how we will be

I worry that I will not love her enough

I am scared that she will not come

Will not stay

I am growing a rainbow full of hope

I miss my baby in the sky

I love my children with all my heart

All of them

And I am proud of this growing family of mine

family

To celebrate the fact that I am growing a rainbow

That Esther, William and Matilda Mae

Will have a new baby sister very soon

  1. I love the name Esme.
I know your beautiful rainbow baby will have the perfect name 🙂 x

Love this pram, thanks for hosting this giveaway 🙂 x

  2. We are having Arabella Faith for our little rainbow girl, our other choice was Hope as a middle name. It took a lot of both hope, and faith to get us where we are now expecting our little miracle.

I would love this for my rainbow due in May, I love Cosatto prams just sadly cannot afford one and we are going to be using a hand me down.

  3. I love the name Meredith Hope . Your choice, and so beautiful . The meanings are just perfect for your family . I really hope you can convince David ! X

  4. I think you are more traditional than this, but I love the name ‘Rainbow’ for a little girl. It’s such a pretty name! But then I love unusual names!

  5. Mia (we where debating to call Molly-May that but decided to use it as a 2. name instead i like it because its short sweet simple but still so beautiful and soft when you say it out loud.
    xxxx

  6. I haven’t let myself think of names yet (I’m 19 weeks) after my last pregnancy ended with a mmc I decided to wait until after my 20 week scan to plan names (nearly there !) I quite like Evelyn it sounds like a strong name and can be shortened for cute nicknames. Hope you find a name perfect for your rainbow xx

  7. I love the names Agnes or Agatha – really traditional but beautiful.

Would love to take my rainbow out in this in August!

  8. As we love unusual names I would choose Keshet for a rainbow baby as we get the idea of a rainbow symbolising hope from the bible and this means rainbow in Hebrew. I also like Twyla as it means star so that it linked to Esther and Matila but may have originated from an improvisation of Wilhelmina so linked to William too xxx

  9. I do love the name Meredith. Also Ivy and Violet. I think I also herd the name Maybel be mentioned, every Baby called Maybel I know is such a sweet and happy one, it’s a lovely name.
In Wales we also have Enfys and Seren, they would both be perfect.
Can’t wait to hear what you do call her x

  10. We have two beautiful rainbow daughters, Ava Grace and Amelie Iris (Iris actually means rainbow, and was also our first dance on our wedding day)

  11. My favourite girls name is Delilah, hubby vetoed it the first time around but if we have another girl I will be putting my foot down and using it!

  12. Having a new baby is so exciting and it is a great addition to your lovely family 🙂
I love the name Gemma for a (rainbow) girl, it’s perfect!

  13. I love the name Starr, and thats what we will be calling our new bubba in November if it is a girl 🙂 we have been trying to find the perfect name for ages, then saw someone on TV with the name starr, It also means alot to us as we both love stars and in the first 2 weeks we got together we spent a night outside in the garden just watching the shooting stars and it was beautiful. 🙂

I loved your Poems by the way 🙂

  14. i love kyanne like diane but ky….anne my eldest daughters name i always get complimented on it and i do not know another with that name

  15. Best wishes to you and your family and to your little one to be.

My little girl is Annabelle, she’s a little ray of sunshine, it’s the perfect name for her!

  16. lavender its a pretty little name like the colour its self and lavendar is always thought to be calming and soothing

  17. Sorry my email was entered incorrectly in that last post – Ariana and Magdelena (Maggie) are a couple that have made our lists.

  18. A friend recently named her new baby girl Elsie, which at first I wasn’t sure about but it’s grown on me and now I love it. I also love Violet, Eva, and Daisy.

  19. What beautiful words. Really touched me. Our rainbow baby is called Luca, and though I never thought about it at the time, I guess it sounds a bit like lucky? Definitely how I feel to have him in our lives.

I see you have Seren in mind, this is our angels name, so I’d say go for this 🙂 It also ties in with the middle names of your two girls.

Or how about Chloe – meaning spring (the season of new life)
Or Angharad – meaning much loved.

  20. My rainbow baby was a boy but had he been a girl we would have called him Caitlin Rose. The Rose was very very important to us as the day we found out I was pregnant with Jacob was the very same day my mother in law Rosie died.

No matter what name you pick for your gorgeous girl I am sure it will fit her perfectly down to a tee.

  21. We have 4 boys and 1 girl and are due another girl within the next couple of weeks. We were told we probably couldnt carry girls as i miscarried between the 4 boys. When our last little girl arrived we wanted a name that no one else had and we chose Evangline Hope which we love. Our next little girl is going to be called Amelia Grace. I love the fact we have Hope and Grace now we have our girls – we are truly blessed.

  22. Our precious little miracle girl is due in 2 weeks and we are still undecided until we see her although India-Rose is the top of our list 🙂 I also love Lily-Rose or Amelia Rose. Violet is also another favourite! Congratulations on your little miracle and I’m sure you will find the perfect name for her too 🙂

  23. Iv always said that if i had a lil girl id call her Rainbow, so i think Rainbow is a fitting a fitting name for a rainbow baby 🙂 x

  24. I love Esme and someone said Astrid that is nice too. I’ve got a weird problem I only like girls’ names with 9 letters how strange is that? Catherine, Alexandra, Charlotte, Elizabeth. I may need help 😉 hoping for our rainbow soon
    xx

  25. My favourite name is ‘Emma’ at the moment, nothing to do with my gorgeous baby niece just being called this!

The pram is stunning as well!!! Thanks 🙂

  26. We called our gorgeous little girl Daisy and I think that’s a perfect name for a rainbow baby. Just like the flowers, our Daisy is sweet, gorgeous, friendly and happy. We couldn;t possibly love her any more than we do.

  27. Beautiful post, as always. I love the name Iris and understand it does actually mean rainbow… Might be wrong! Beatrice is another favourite and I think it sounds lovely with Matilda, Esther and William too, it also means blessed xxx
