As the weather turns

It is time to change from summer shoes to winter boots

Esther and William have recently been given some HappiJoey boots

To test out for Beebies Baby Store

Esther chose some rather splendid pink boots with flowers on

And William chose green

(though they are brown!)

Affectionately now known as his ‘stomping boots’

And his current shoe of choice

But especially William

Like the thickness of the sole

And the ‘stiff toes’ and ankle support

Something that they are not really used to having

HappiJoey shoes do follow the barefoot philosophy

That is so important in our family

The ankle boots do give support to the ankle

And protection to the toe

But they are also wide fitting so do not restrict movement or growth

And allow little toes to spread

The 100% leather uppers come in a range of colourful and cute designs

For boys and for girls

The girls range is very pink!

It would be nice to see some reds and blues and yellows and browns

Within the girls designs

As it happens at the moment Esther adores pink

And so is very Happi with her boots

The shoes are lovely to look at

With added motifs and decorations

William finds his very comfortable wear

But Esther says her feet get sore if she wears them for a very long time

This could be me not measuring her feet quite right

Rather than a problem with the shoe

If I were to choose again for my beautiful four year old daughter

I would not get shoes with laces

As she cannot get them on and off herself

Though has quickly become very adept at getting the laces out of the boots

Every time we go in the car!!

But the shoes are beautiful

Esther and William are always keen to get them on

And stomp around

They are well made with small people in mind

And cost around the same as I would ordinarily spend on shoes

As much as I do adore Beebies Baby Store

And the lovely Ami that runs it

I think for happy feet in our family

We will still use Bobux and Livie and Luca

Though I am not sure young master William would agree!

HappiJoey shoes are perfect for play

Pretty enough for parties

Awesome enough for adventures

Sturdy enough for walks in the woods

Have enough grip for climbing

Enough stomp for dinosaurs
