Sticky Brick Tape Review and Giveaway

Esther and William have discovered Lego this year

Esther likes small kits

She likes to methodically follow the instructions

William likes the idea of kits

But mostly he likes using his imagination to make his own creations

And he likes to act out stories with the figures

I also like Lego

I think it has a lot to offer from an educational point of view

And it is great for developing fine motor skills

Over the last couple of days

We have been trialling some Sticky Brick Tape

2017-08-26 16.14.52

Whilst testing out the Sticky Brick Tape

We made number lines

For Bea, age 3

To begin recognising and ordering numbers

From 0 – 20

I have also made a doubling resource for Esther

To get to grips with doubling

By putting the correctly numbered bricks together

2017-08-29 11.04.26

And I have lots more ideas

2017-08-29 11.03.00

To facilitate my Lego number line ideas

We used the tape to make a Lego Line table

2017-08-26 16.14.01-1

A tired outdoor table has been given a Sticky Brick Tape boost

And while we have true Lego inside

When working outside we use unnamed bricks

Rather than actual Lego

This means it is cheaper and I am not worried if it gets wet and dirty

Or lost!

It also means I am happy to write on it with my Sharpies

To make teaching and learning resources

As well as number lines

We can explore phonics and spelling

And order the alphabet

Using bricks and Sticky Brick Tape

The tape can also be used for brick filming

Using stop motion animation software

Such as Zu3D

We have also tried using the tape for labelling shelves in the playroom

And making any surface a potential Lego brick base

2017-08-26 16.21.31

I am really impressed with the quality of the tape

It is easy to cut to the length you require

It sticks securely but can be removed again without any permanent damage to surfaces

It would be quite expensive to cover a large space

But for small projects

Such as making games and puzzles

Small Lego surfaces

For that kind of thing Sticky Brick Tape is perfect

Want to give it a go?
