My children love Frozen
Esther is always singing the songs
While Bea and Edie like acting out scenes being Anna and Elsa
We often include the characters in our messy and sensory play
One of the joys of home educating
Is being able to follow children’s interests
I thought it would be a good idea to use their current fascination with all things Frozen
To do some fun themed science
And so I am planning a Frozen Themed Science Day
Whenever I am planning new projects I turn to the Internet for inspiration

I will pull together a selection of ideas that will work for my mini scientists
My children also enjoy shop bought science kits
And there are few I have spotted that are Frozen themed
Frozen 2 – Magical Crystal Set
This is a special kit to learn how to grow crystals and re-create the magic world of Frozen. With this kit children can explore simple chemical reactions.
This sparkly magic kit allows children to create wonderful sculptures. Mini scientists can have fun playing with the crystal slime, mixing the colours and adding sparkle with the glitters.
This set looks fantastic. A real laboratory with instructions to carry out 15 water and ice-based experiments. My kids would love this one and learn so much from working through the different investigations.
Jigsaws are great for problem solving skills and this is a wonderful Elsa and Anna one
It is double sided jigsaw so that children can make the puzzle and then flip it over
