Edie’s Festive Favourites: Board Books

Edie, age 4, LOVES books with flaps so imagine her utter delight when presented with Can’t See Santa from Little Tiger. This book is FLAPTASTIC! Every single beautifully illustrated page is filled with flaps hiding festive surprises. Over 40 flaps!

Can’t See Santa invites little readers to join Mouse on Christmas Eve. He is very very VERY excited for Christmas and cannot wait for Santa to arrive. He is looking for him everywhere. Looking and looking but seeing nothing!

Mouse is so focused on his search for Santa he does not see the carol singers, the frogs having fun in the snow, the festive feast, the twinkling lights on the tree and all the wonderful decorations. Mouse goes to bed thinking that Santa has forgotten him when really it is Mouse who has forgotten one very important thing about Christmas and Santa. Do you know what it is?

A reminder to us all to be present this Christmas and to make the most of every moment and all the glorious treats and trimmings of the season, together with our family and friends.

And inspiration for tiny readers to go to bed early on Christmas Eve!!!

Edie also adores cuddles and snuggles and knowing that she is loved, especially when excitement levels are high. All I Want For Christmas illustrated by Roisin Hahessy is the perfect Christmas tree shaped board book to read when little ones need to know they are loved. This lovely little book reassures tiny bookworms that they are loved at Christmas and always. That amidst all the hustle and bustle of the festive season they are the most special gift of all. A celebration of the joy of spending Christmas together and a gentle hug of a book to show our little ones how much we love them at Christmas and always.
