Last year at Brit Mums Live I won a family photo shoot with Image Thirst. It was wonderful and produced photographs that have always been precious but are even more so now.
The success of this photo shoot led to us having one locally at Christmas.
All three children enjoyed the experience so much that I decided that I would use professional photo shoots to mark important milestones.
The lovely Helen from Schryver Photography in Ashford came and photographed Tilda’s walk earlier this year and I knew as soon as I met her that I wanted her to photograph Esther and William on their birthday.
And so she did.
And Esther and William loved it.
It was a lovely, exhausting, afternoon.
My aunty and uncle were with us and my very dear friend and it was a lovely social occasion.
It marked Esther and William’s third birthday and I think you will agree that Tilda is with us in every photo.
I could see her everywhere, where she should be in every shot.
Clapping bubbles.
Chasing wagons.
Giggling and playing.
Sitting in cake!
What I love about Helen is that she is so good with children. She got Esther and William involved with planning the shots and followed their lead as to where they wanted to go and what they wanted to do.
We knew that we wanted natural shots.
I loved the idea of using the retro wagons and cuddly toys.
I wanted to mix up stars and bubbles.
I wanted shots of Esther in her Matilda Mae dress.
And I wanted to try a ‘cake smash’ or as we called it ‘Messy Cake!’
It was a lovely afternoon full of love and celebration.
A visit to Baby Tilda’s garden.
And lots of bubble kisses.
Everyone took a breath as Esther and William made sure we knew that the bubbles they were blowing were all for Baby Tilda in the sky.
Each and every picture has captured their personalities as they change from toddlers to preschoolers in turning three.
Three!
If you live in Kent and are looking for a photographer, I cannot recommend Helen enough.
She is awesome!
Thank you Schryver Photography for a memorable marking of a milestone we will never ever forget.
Thank you x
Just so there is no confusion I paid for the photo shoot and have ordered a photograph package from Schryver Photography. This is not a review and I have not been asked to write this post. I am just so proud of these beautiful portraits of my children. All of them x
