With Christmas just around the corner we are launching our Festive Forecast where we will share some of our best loved toys for Christmas.
Today I want to tell you about Matilda Mae’s new best friend, the Galt Activity Pony.
This fabulously soft yellow pony has caused some confusion in our house as Esther and William are absolutely certain that it is a cow!!
Matilda Mae is not really sure what it is but she adores it’s friendly face and will sit for ages holding onto his ear and talking to him. I have decided it is a him!
When we first welcomed Pony Cow into our home, Matilda could not sit unaided and so we used the horse (pony cow?) to prop her up. This was fine until Esther or William came along to ride the cow! When Tilda would promptly fall over.
We decided it would be better to use our trusty Galt Dinosaur cushion to hold the baby up and this way she was also able to talk to the Pony Cow. Something that she loves to do.
Matilda loves to play with the Pony Cow alone or with her rowdy siblings. It has been wonderful actually to watch the interaction between the three of them.
The yellow horse is super soft and brightly coloured. It bears a Galt rosette with a jingling sound.
Over it’s body it has brightly coloured spots of different textures for baby to look at and explore. The ears crinkle and rattle and if you press the horses mouth it neighs, confirming that it is indeed a pony and not a cow!!
All three of my children love to lie over the cuddly animal and ride it too.
With its great big eyes, fleecy main and floppy tail the Galt Activity Pony is definitely a favourite toy in our house with Matilda, but with Esther and William too. I love the way that they all play with him together and how Matilda smiles and babbles whenever he is close by.
The Galt Pony is a great family toy and is suitable from just 3 months.
