Something Special About Center Parcs

On Friday we travelled to Elveden Forest and arrived at a beautiful winter wonderland

Created by Center Parcs

Esther and William were excited from the first sight of snow

I knew it was special from the first stars

The pink and purple trees

There was magic in the air

And Baby Tilda felt very close to me

I managed 24 hours of awe and wonder

Fun with family and friends

Before collapsing in a heap of sickness

For the remaining 36

It was not the holiday I had hoped for

I did not get the time I was so desperate for

To spend with Susanne

But there was magic in the air

At Center Parcs this weekend

And I hope that our two families will have the chance

To come together again

Very very soon

I think our little preschoolers

May have the makings of a life long friendship

One full of mischief and adventure

And fun

So much fun

This weekend we loved the walks

The leaves, the snow, the lights

This weekend we loved being out in the air

The star filled skies

This weekend we loved

A very slow and quiet introduction to Christmas

Knowing how very hard this year is going to be

There was just enough festive magic

To know that Christmas is definitely coming

This weekend I loved hearing my children giggle

I loved to see them smile

This weekend they loved the puddles

And their PaddlePaks

There was a lot to love at Center Parcs this weekend

While I was poorly Esther, William and Daddy were able to

Swim, bike, visit the farm, watch the fireworks

They had a magical, wonderful time

I am so so sad that I missed so much

I hope that we will go back another year

Esther and William were very sad to leave

Susanne, I will always be thankful to you

For giving our first Christmas without Tilda

Such a special and memorable start

She really was everywhere x x x x
