  1. I think that I may keep it for our wedding day coming in August. I know I will be a bag of nerves on the morning and won’t be taking much of that in-so to have a keepsake for the sun rising on the day that will make us a ‘proper’ family will be lovely, plus we got engaged by the sea too so that sort of brings it full circle. Such a lovely post by the way, and what a perfect photo for you to have in your bedroom, especially with all meanings you have to the sea and the sky too xxx

  2. September 21st 2013 because in the stunning surroundings of a farm in Ashbourne, I married the love of my life and our family began. Now, as we approach the time of becoming a family of 3, I want to fully appreciate the journey we’ve been taking xxx

  3. I bought a ‘the day that’ for my godson, the picture of the morning he was born. It is beautiful. I know exactly who i would get a ‘the day that’ for, my son Toby, but im not sure which day. The day i last felt him move (2nd may 2010) the day i found out he had died (4th May 2010) the day he was born (6th May 2010) or the day we buried him. I would love to know what the start of all those days looked like, i hope they were beautiful starts, because all i remember is how dark and horrendous the rest of the days were.

  4. I have two days that I would choose, well, so many days, would it be the days my two sons graduated or will it be the day in the future that my eldest son gets married? or the day he and his fiancee moved into their first flat, or their first house? I don’t know.
I know that I will be visiting this website and buying presents for people from there. What a wonderful idea.

  5. My little guys day of birth, I have always loved this idea and it would be such a beautiful reminder of our very special day.

  6. I would pick my baby’s birthday, 3 May 2013, he was born in the early hours of the morning and I didn’t see daylight for another 2 days. This is such a beautiful idea and I hope you really enjoy your picture x

  7. I would like the sunrise on the morning my son was born 27th may 2007 @ 12.30am. We were both asleep for sunrise that morning but we have enjoyed many a sunrise together since.

  8. Beautiful post and I love these images…what an amazing idea. For me, the dates would have to be my two children’s birthdays. Both incredibly special for different reasons. What a lovely idea though – will certainly be looking at the website for gifts.

  9. Would have to be the day my twins were born – 20th September 2011 πŸ™‚
A beautiful post Jennie and what an amazing picture to treasure xx

  10. I would choose the day my son was born as he will be our only child and it will be a memory to treasure for ever

  11. I would pick the day my daughter was born, what a beautiful keepsake these photos make, such a lovely idea x

  12. Thank you for sharing this amazing idea. I have too many special dates I want photos of! It’s going to cost me a fortune

  13. What a beautiful post and indeed, a beautiful image that you chose for Matilda’s sunrise. It would be have to be the birth date of one of my 4 children, or the due date of what would have been my ‘molar pregnancy’ baby’s due date. Off to look at the website now!

  14. I would choose the day my daughter, Lily, was born. All I remember of that morning is being wheeled down from the ward for my induction. Strapped up to the monitor, I couldn’t wander around and couldn’t pop outside to see the sun. It’d be lovely to see how beautiful it was on that day. x

  15. I would definitely chose it as a gift for my gorgeous goddaughter who was just born on 21st April…I just had a quick look at the images, the only thing is that I would have to decide which one to take πŸ™‚

  16. My beautiful Jett was born on 31st march 2014, he was a light in my heart, we sadly found him sleeping in gods arms this past Sunday 11th may, so suddenly with no chance to say goodbye, there are no words to describe the pain, no pill strong enough to take it away, just enough tears to fill an ocean.
The day that gave me this link as I contacted them about a memorial piece.
Thank you for taking the time to do things like this for people.
    Sera x
