The Lucky Star

Last year I was part of something amazing

In memory of Matilda Mae

An army of bloggers came together

To help the FSID launch their new name and brand

The Lullaby Trust

One of those bloggers

Was a wonderful writer and a lady I am proud to call my friend

Helen, perhaps known better to you as

Ellie All At Sea

She wrote a story

A beautiful story

A beautiful bedtime story called The Lucky Star

It melted my heart to read it

To recognise myself within it

And the community to which I am so proud to belong

I will forever be grateful

For friends and strangers

Just like Helen

Who after 2nd February 2013

Decided not to cross the path

Decided to stand beside me

Carry me and hold me

And keep Matilda Mae in their hearts

tilda poddle

Shortly after Tilda died

Another very special lady

Sarah, perhaps better known to you as

My Mummy Sings

Wrote a beautiful lullabby for Tilda’s Goodbye

My Angel

Sarah decided to work with Helen and I

To make an audio recording of the story

And to write and sing the most beautiful accompanying lullaby

The project is now complete

And we would like to share it with you

The Lucky Star Story

and

The Lucky Star Lullaby

Tilda lights up Christmas

We would love you to download the story and the song

To listen to and share with your loved ones

All that we ask in return is that you make a donation

Of £2 to The Lullaby Trust

Today is our Mae Day

And this release is very dear to our hearts

We are asking for donations of £2

As Matilda Mae should have turned two on Friday

You can make your donation on our Just Giving page

And the money will go directly to The Lullaby Trust

  1. I’m so proud of what we have created in memory of your beautiful daughter. You were so brave to narrate it. May Matilda Mae hear it and know it to be her lullaby. Sending much love to you and yours xxx
