Ten Teacher Gifts for Christmas 2015

As term draws to a close

My mind has wandered to gift buying

Secret Santa

Gifts for colleagues

Presents for the team who teach my own children

My children will probably make the gifts for their teachers and TA

We will definitely be making cards

But it is always nice to search for ideas for special someones

My favourite gifts as a teacher

Have always been made by children I have taught

Or been specially chosen by their families

(And the digital camera I bought with vouchers given to me by the parents of one class!!)

The last time I had a class of my own was before the days of Etsy and Not On The High Street

These online market places now make it much easier

To find special, quirky things

For special people

Here are ten things I found that I am certain

Would make a teacher or TA smile

A star teacher vintage spoon

Every teacher ‘otter’ have one of these! We always need to be jotting things down. And I can never remember or find where I jotted them!

  1. A beautiful mug with a tea bag inside, a delicious chocolate biscuit tied to handle with just add water when you need a break on the tag.
A tiny oak tree sapling that’s now the height of my house….often wonder where that wee boy is now!
