As part of the blog tour we have been asked to share some of our favourite quotes

To give you a feel for the story

Here they are

Molly closed her eyes and listened. All she could hear were the birds singing, bees buzzing and the rustle of trees in the wind.

The branches of the apple trees were covered in hundreds of tiny pale pink flowers. Molly shook a tree trunk and blossom showered all over her.

For breakfast, Grandma made delicious buttery crumpets covered in honey, chopped bananas and strawberries.

The track ahead of them split into two. To their right, a narrow path disappeared into dark, thorny bushes. To their left, a little bird was singing happily on a wide, sunny path that looked much more inviting.

Small branches reached into the path and leaves seemed to wave and shake as they walked past – almost as if the bushes were alive.

…“The final ingredient is a dragon scale.
“A dragon scale” frowned Molly. “Is that a kind of clue?”
“Oh no,” said Wilbur. “I need a real dragon scale. Uckily I know just where you will find one!”

The dragon looked up in surprise, shot a small fireball from his mouth, flew straight up into the air, bumped into a tree and crash-landed in a bush.

She stared at the dragon curiously.”Are you a baby dragon?”
“Certainly not! I am two hundred and twelve years old,” answered the dragon.

“It’s a wish bubble,” explained Wilbur.
