This year we did our Miles in Memory
In two parts
And a mile by the sea at Hythe
Esther and William were on their beloved Puky bikes
And Bea was in her BOB
We walked along the seafront
Taking our time
Soaking up the sunshine
Talking together
Testing out ramps and walkways
Enjoying the view
The sun sparkled in the sunlight
A salty blanket of stars
We crossed the golf course
To the military canal
Walking among wildflowers
Heading over bridges
Along a tree lined avenue
Stopping to snack
Stopping to chat
And watch the row boats pass by
It was such a lovely afternoon
Filled with Tilda, rainbows and stars
When we got back to the beach
We sat on the stones
Clambered on the rocks
In her memory
In her honour
We had some special family time
And we donated money to
For our miles in memory
