A Gift Guide for Creative Kids with Bright Minds #ad

As my children get older

Shopping for Christmas becomes more tricky

They still believe in Father Christmas

And in our house he brings ALL the gifts

As they get bigger

And their interests become very focused

Their letters and lists become quite specific

Making buying for them quite a skill

Esther is all about Harry Potter this year

Thankfully the books and films are as popular as ever

So merchandise is not hard to come by

But I am also trying to think a little out of the box

Esther is a really creative child

She loves to draw

She loves to create small worlds for play

She loves to fiddle

She loves to make things

And she LOVES cuddly toys

I have recently discovered Bright Minds

And it is brilliant

Lots of perfect present ideas for creative kids

Lots of learning through play sets

Lots of art and craft kits

Some really fab ideas that are perfect for Esther

These are the things

That have really caught my eye

For my artist and witch in training

ButtonBag Learn How To Cross Stitch

I have such fond memories of learning to cross stitch as a child on these pieces of holey canvas. I loved making bookmarks and little coasters. I think that Esther would love this too and this suitcase set is really lovely. Would look good on display in her bedroom and keeps all the little bits contained.

Nebulous Stars Magic WaterColour Set

Esther loves to paint and this magical watercolour painting set looks wonderful. Something she can get out on a rainy day and do independently. Something for when Esther does not want to start from a blank page. I love the theme of magic and stars, and I know that Esther does too.

Scratch Art Starlight Projector Kit

A nod to astronomy for my witch to be! Esther and Bea both love Scratch Art at the moment. The house is forever covered in black dust! I think this is such a lovely idea. A Scratch Art Starlight night light. Would be a lovely way to bring Matilda Mae into Esther’s Christmas too.

ButtonBag Learn How To Knit Kit

Did you knit as a child? I did. My Nan taught me and I loved it. I loved to sit and knit. I would have no idea how to do it now but I may have to relearn as Esther wants to give it a go. I think she is imagining herself as Hermione, knitting socks and hats for house elves. Think we will have to get her a cuddly Dobby to knit for! This is a really lovely suitcase set for children to learn how to knit and to start making some simple products. What a wonderful way to spend Boxing Day? Learning to knit all over again with my biggest girl. Maybe I should get a set for me too!

Book Tails Bear Bookmark

Esther loves teddy bears. She loves anything cuddly but especially bears. She also loves to read though she finds it a struggle and I think this super gorgeous bear bookmark would be a comfort to her, a reading companion. There are lots of different animals to choose from so I think I might get one of these for Bea and William too. They are lovely little stocking fillers, cute, cuddly and useful too!

Bright Minds has so many wonderful gift ideas, books and toys, craft kits, they have something for everyone, all ages and interests. William is incredibly hard to buy for and even he has been circling things in the Bright Minds catalogue.

If you are starting your Christmas shopping for primary aged children, I do recommend having a look at Bright Minds.

The products featured were sent for inclusion in this gift guide however all opinions are my own
